Northern Light Counseling is growing—and this is an incredibly exciting time to join us! We have officially expanded our property in Honesdale, creating ample opportunities for clinicians, holistic wellness providers, and healers of all disciplines to collaborate and thrive in a beautiful, shared space.
We are currently actively hiring school-based therapists while simultaneously expanding our vibrant outpatient clinic and wellness presence right here in Honesdale.
We offer unique opportunities for providers to work in:
- School-Based Settings (Current Openings): Provide counseling services directly within K–12 schools, collaborating with staff and families to support students in real time.
- Outpatient & Wellness Clinic (Expanding Openings): Provide counseling or holistic services in a traditional setting at our expanded Honesdale property, with opportunities to build, shape, and grow your own unique practice.
All team members are supported by our systems, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and sustainable workloads. Both full-time and part-time positions are available depending on your role and timing.
What You'll Do (For Clinicians)
- Provide counseling services (school-based or clinic-based)
- Collaborate with families, school staff, and other providers
- Participate in case planning and clinical consultation
- Complete documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes)
- Maintain ethical and professional standards
Qualifications
- For Mental Health Clinicians: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field. Licensed in PA as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSW.
- Note for LSWs: Clinical supervision and hours toward advanced licensure are available!
- For Holistic Providers & Healers: Relevant certifications, licenses, and insurance required for your specific modality (e.g., bodywork, holistic therapies, integrative health).
- Required PA clearances (where applicable for school settings)
- A passion for community wellness and collaboration.
